Spirit Lake Trails

Imagine breezing through the beautiful forest with a team of dogs in the lead...

No experience is required for this winter adventure!

You will start your day at 10:00 a.m. learning basic dog handling skills like harnessing and commands and you will get to know our friendly, well-trained dogs.

Once you get your team harnessed, it's off through the snow-covered woods with surprising beauty around every corner. You don't have to worry if something goes wrong because help is always nearby.

Next, take a break at a rustic cabin in the woods. A hot trail lunch is served as you warm up by the wood stove.

Now that you're an experienced musher, you lead your team of dogs back to home base about 1:30.

You can then choose whether you want to run your team again or do another activity of your choice like snowshoeing or sledding.

Please note-

The recommended ages for the mini trail is 6 and up and 12 and up for the regular trail.
Dog sledding requires running, pushing, pulling, and good balance. Mushers need to be in relatively good health.
Bring your camera!
